First full day in Montevideo. Lots of free time after morning session to explore city, meet new friends, and enjoy good food.
Educator Reflection: Beginning the experience reminded me how important it is to enter an unfamiliar environment as a learner rather than assuming I already understand the it. As educators, we often expect students to become comfortable quickly in new situations, but being in a different country reinforced how much observation, patience, and willingness to ask questions matter. I want to create more opportunities for my students to experience that same productive uncertainty in the classroom.
